Kelli brings nearly two decades of public and private sector experience to Klein/Johnson Group. Kelli offers valuable strategic and policy engagement for a range of clients, and is known for a consensus-driven, results-oriented approach to getting things done. She combines that style with strong House Leadership connections, relationships on both sides of the aisle and Capitol, as well as industry stakeholders.

Prior to joining the Klein/Johnson Group, Kelli was the Head of Government & Industry Affairs for an artificial intelligence healthcare technology company. She developed and implemented the company's political and legislative strategy both on Capitol Hill and with the Administration on issues such as streamlining electronic prior authorization, privacy and interoperability. Prior to that she was a government affairs consultant advising and advocating on behalf of various Fortune 200 companies, trade associations and coalitions on a range of issues including tax and trade policy.

She spent twelve years on Capitol Hill, including serving as the Chief of Staff to Congressman Patrick J. Tiberi (R-OH), a longtime member of the Ways and Means Committee who chaired the tax, trade and health subcommittees, as well as the Joint Economic Committee.  During her time as Chief of Staff, she led a team in support of Tiberi’s critical role in securing Committee and floor passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and the Trade Promotion Authority Act of 2015. Prior to that, she worked as Tiberi’s Legislative Director, managing the policy team and covering a portfolio of issues before the Ways and Means Committee as well as issues related to judiciary, education, and labor policy.

Kelli received a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Ohio University. She currently resides in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio with her dog Lambeau, the unofficial mascot of the Green Bay Packers.
